Rankin County students earn full-tuition scholarships to UMMC

Four graduate students from Rankin County received both a graduate assistantship from the School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and an Ing "Ike" Ho Scholarship. The Ho Scholarship is a full-tuition recruitment scholarship awarded for outstanding academic achievement.
- Misty Davis of Pearl received her associate's degree from Hinds Community College and her bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. She will study biochemistry.
- Matthew Dukes of Brandon received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi. He will study physiology.
- Erin Taylor of Flowood received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Mississippi State University. She will study microbiology.
- Stephanie Willis of Pelahatchie received her associate's degree from Hinds Community College and her bachelor's degree from Belhaven College. She will study neuroscience.
