Ideas in motion: recent speakers and seminars at SOPH
This spring, the John D. Bower School of Population Health hosted and partnered on a series of seminars and grand rounds highlighting the breadth of population health work across research, policy, prevention and practice. Presentations included topics ranging from health policy and legislative advocacy to tickborne disease, cancer care, COVID-19 lessons, comorbidity and health outcomes, and the biomechanics of human movement. Together, the events offered students, faculty, staff and community partners opportunities to engage with timely issues affecting health in Mississippi and beyond.
