Meet SOPH’s 2026-2027 student body leadership

The John D. Bower School of Population Health congratulates Torrey Robinson and Mickel Sandifer, who will serve as student body president and vice president, respectively, for the 2026-2027 academic year.

In their new roles, Robinson and Sandifer will help represent SOPH students, support communication between students and school leadership and contribute to a strong sense of connection across the school’s academic programs.

“Student leadership plays an important role in the student experience at the John D. Bower School of Population Health,” said Victoria Gholar, PhD, assistant dean for student affairs. “Torrey and Mickel have demonstrated a commitment to serving their peers, and I look forward to supporting them as they foster connections and engagement among our students throughout the coming year.”

Through service, engagement and collaboration, student leaders help build community while also strengthening the student voice within the school.

SOPH looks forward to the leadership of Robinson and Sandifer in the year ahead and congratulates them on this well-earned recognition.
