Recruitment Plan

Definition

• A recruitment plan sets forth the study team responsibilities in regards to recruitment, recruitment goals and timelines, recruitment and retention strategies based on the protocol and the target population, and metrics for assessing recruitment and retention performance. 
• Successful clinical research study recruitment depends on a thorough and well-managed recruitment plan.

• The Office of Clinical Trials can assist with the development of flyers and other recruitment materials. All recruitment materials must be approved by the UMMC Institutional Review Board prior to use.
