Biostatistics/Data Science

Through a collaboration with the Department of Data Science, MCRTC provides cutting-edge biostatistical and information science expertise to researchers at UMMC. Data Science services promote long-term relationships between our team members and investigators by providing a responsive, comprehensive, and productive service to our collaborators.

Services include:

• Study and experimental design including grant preparation and contract development
• Protocol development
• Power/sample size calculation
• Hypotheses formulation, analysis planning, statistical writing
• Data monitoring
• Method development
• Data analysis, results interpretation
