CITI Training - Optional Courses and Modules

IRB accreditation logo.jpgOptional CITI modules are available to all required to take CITI training. A list of modules available to UMMC faculty, staff, and students are as follows:

  • Human Subjects Research (HSR) - IRB Chair Course
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) – GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs (ICH Focus) – (Basic Course)
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) – GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs (ICH Focus) – (Refresher Course)
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) – GCP for Clinical Trials Involving Medical Devices Course (International Focus)
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Course, US FDA Focus
  • Conflict of Interest (COI) Course
  • Information Privacy and Security (IPS) for Researchers
  • Information Privacy and Security (IPS) – How HITECH has Changed HIPAA Module
  • Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research
  • Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research
  • Responsible Conduct of Research for Administrators
  • Institutional/Signatory Official:  Human Subject Research
  • Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)

The courses and modules above can be taken during the required CITI training or taken at another time. Responses to the CITI Course Enrollment Questions will determine if any of the modules will be available for review. The courses and modules can also be reviewed by logging in to CITI and choosing “add a course” and completing the CITI Course Enrollment Questions.
