Program Expectations

Program Content

• Instructional materials, including videos, is property of the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion and should not be subject to unauthorized use.
• Participants should not enroll in this program or use course content to meet requirements of any degree-seeking program or academic study.
• Participants are prohibited from downloading course content materials to use for instructional purposes. This includes content within presentations, videos, and assessment questions.

Program Withdrawal

• Applying to the program makes the student responsible for completing all modules.
• If the participant intends to withdraw from the program, a written request should be submitted to di-champions@umc.edu.
• Withdrawals will be recorded and participants will no longer have access to course materials. Course credits will only be given when modules are completed.
• If the withdrawal is due to medical, personal, or military reasons, a “Leave of Absence” may be granted. Leave may not exceed six (6) months due to the structure of the program. Upon return, the student may continue from the last module completed.
• No program withdrawals or leaves of absence will be granted without the appropriate approval and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Program Dismissal

• Failure to complete modules by the deadline, officially withdraw, or meet professional expectations will result in immediate dismissal of the program.
• Professional expectations include behaviors determined to be unprofessional, unethical, or illegal.
