The University of Mississippi Medical Center Strategic Plan, “UMMC/2020," was developed and adopted in 2014. It provides a blueprint that will guide the Medical Center through the next five years.
The result of a thoughtful, inclusive planning process carried out over six months, UMMC/2020 sets forth a set of goals and associated strategies to help Medical Center leaders ensure continued success for the organization as they strive to achieve its mission to improve the health of Mississippians. Staff members across the organization are developing and carrying out action steps to implement the plan, and regular reviews are anticipated to adapt the plan to changing circumstances.
