Trade NAFTA Visa Classification
The Trade NAFTA (TN) non-immigrant classification was established as a part of the North American Free Trade Agreement, which created special economic and trade relationships for the United States, Canada
Under the TN classification, qualified citizens of Canada and Mexico are allowed to engage in temporary employment in the United States at the professional level. Only the occupations that are listed in Appendix 1603.D.1 of the NAFTA treaty can be utilized for TN employment.
