UMMC Office of Well-being - UMMC employees have access to mental health navigation and the RISE program, which includes 24/7 peer support, Interactive Screening Program, Comfort Rounds, and Code Lavender. Contact RISE@umc.edu Officeofwellbeing@umc.edu or call 601-984-2705.

UMMC Spiritual ServicesTo make an appointment with a UMMC chaplain call: 601-815-2112.  Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 pm.  UMMC Interfaith Chapel: located in the upper lobby off the main entrance of University Hospital Available Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.  A quiet room across from the chapel is always open.

UMMC Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior - Highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, licensed therapists and nurse practitioners provide a wide range of services for children, adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. To schedule an appointment call: 601-984-6925

UMMC Addictions PsychiatryAddiction specialists provide compassionate, research-based assessment, treatment, and referral services for adults (age 18 and up) troubled by alcohol and/or drug use. We look at the whole person, designing treatment plans around the unique history, needs, and goals of each patient.  To schedule an appointment call: 601-984-6925

UMMC 2 You Telehealth - UMMC2 provides the same minor medical care as in a UMMC clinic—but on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Talk face-to-face with a board-certified UMMC provider without leaving home or workplace.  To make an appointment email telehealth@umc.edu or call 601-815-2020. Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

UMMC Police and Public Safety Department - The UMMC Police can be reached at 601-815-7777 for emergencies and 601-815-3072 or 601-984-1360 for non-emergencies. Physical safety and personal security go hand-in-hand at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, thanks to the UMMC Police and Public Safety Department. Its ranks of more than 85 officers assist and protect patients, visitors, faculty, staff, and students 24 hours a day on the 164-acre campus.

TELUS Health EAP - UMMC coordinates opportunities for students to receive confidential counseling services for school-related, personal, and family matters. Dependents and household members may also receive services. Professionals are available to speak with you 24/7 to help address your issues and guide you to appropriate resources.

Title IX and Sexual Misconduct (Office of Academic Affairs) - Misconduct is of serious concern to this institution and is strictly prohibited. It is the policy of the Medical Center and the School of Medicine to maintain an educational environment and workplace free from misconduct.

Office of Integrity and Compliance - UMMC has implemented a compliance program to develop effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable federal and state law, and the program requirements of federal, state, and private health plans. The adoption and implementation of this program have significantly advanced the prevention of fraud, abuse, and waste, while at the same time, furthering the fundamental mission of UMMC to provide quality care to its patients. 

International Services - International Services, part of UMMC's Department of Human Resources, provides professional support and advising services to international faculty, staff, students, and scholars at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and serves as a resource to all departments on immigration regulations and requirements.

Office of Student Affairs - The Office of Student Affairs is engaged in fostering an environment that promotes academic success and student development. The office coordinates a wide variety of services and activities that impact all students and may operate as a conduit between the student, faculty, and administration.

Student Counseling and Wellness Center - The Student Counseling and Wellness Center exists to help UMMC students manage the stresses and difficulties of daily life, life inside and outside the classroom.  

TELUS Health Student EAP - UMMC coordinates opportunities for students to receive confidential counseling services for school-related, personal, and family matters. Student Employee Health - Student Employee Health is responsible for student health and on-the-job employee injuries. Services include nursing care, first aid, and over-the-counter medications. Standard sick call hours are staffed by a nurse practitioner and/or physician. The department manages TB screening, flu vaccinations, and other vaccinations.

Student Complaints - Current students at the University of Mississippi Medical Center may seek resolution to academic or misconduct complaints through the school's published administrative channels, entering at the appropriate level and proceeding in the documented order. Students may seek resolution of non-academic or non-misconduct complaints through the appropriate office on campus designated to address the particular concern.

Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Rape, and Human Trafficking - 800-266-4198 The Center for Violence Prevention has a twenty-four hour crisis and referral line to assist in immediate needs. 

LGBT National Hotline - 888-843-4564Callers can speak confidentially and anonymously on many different issues and concerns including, but limited to, coming out issues, gender and/or sexuality identities, relationship concerns, bullying, workplace issues, HIV/AIDS anxiety, safer sex information, suicide, and much more. 

LGBTQ+ (Trevor Project) - 866-488-7386Trevor Lifeline is a crisis intervention and suicide prevention phone service.  Visit the website for additional information and ways to reach a counselor online. 

Trans Lifeline - Transgender, non-binary, and gender-questioning people: 877-565-8860 The hotline is staffed exclusively by trans operators, and we are the only crisis line with a policy against non-consensual active rescue.
