FEATURED UMMC AND MISSISSIPPI OPPORTUNITIES
- UMMC School of Nursing Honors Day Scholarships – Internal scholarships awarded each spring. Watch your UMMC email for the application announcement and deadline.
- UMMC Workforce Enhancement Scholarship (WES) – Service scholarship for eligible Accelerated and Traditional BSN students who commit to working at UMMC on qualified units after graduation.
- Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) Nursing Scholarship – State-funded scholarships and forgivable loans available to Mississippi residents. Many programs require receipts to practice in Mississippi after graduation.
- Mississippi WIN Job Center Job Training Scholarship – Eligible students may receive job-training assistance through their local WIN job Center. Apply in the county where you reside.
- HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship Program – Pays tuition, fees, and provides a monthly living stipend in exchange for working in a high-need healthcare facility after graduation.
- Mississippi Nurses Foundation Scholarship & Grants – Provides scholarships, stipends, and grants to nursing students and RNs throughout Mississippi.
