Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment
Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment is an evidence-based approach to reducing risky alcohol and drug use in a variety of settings. Through generous funding from the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA U79TI026047, Project Directors: Schumacher & Williams), the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior developed a variety of resources to equip healthcare providers in Mississippi to prevent and mitigate alcohol and drug-related harms.
