About Radiology

Radiology is the medical specialty that uses radiant energy and radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease. Radiology includes X-rays, ultrasounds, mammography, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and radiation.
