The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) offers advanced skull base surgery performed by a team of highly skilled neurosurgeons. These specialized surgical techniques provide safe access to complex lesions located in and around the skull base, an area that includes critical structures of the brain, cranial nerves and blood vessels. 

Our skull base surgery program is one of only a few highly specialized programs in the region, delivering comprehensive surgical care for both children and adults. By combining state-of-the-art technology, innovative approaches and multidisciplinary expertise, we aim to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients with challenging skull base conditions.
