Saline Bullets

Please squirt a 3ML saline bullet/ampule in the airway 3-5 x day for help with cleaning the mucus out of the airway.

1. Have patient breathe out

2. On inhale squirt the entire bullet in if possible

3. Let it sit and not cough (if possible)

4. Cough out the remaining mucus

Do this 3-5 times a day to help with pulmonary humidification and mucus control.
