Play Games and Fundraise for Children’s of Mississippi

Do you enjoy playing video games, board games, word games, puzzles, or outside games. Did you know you can game through the Extra Life program to raise money for Children’s of Mississippi? Extra Lifers organize, play games, and have fun throughout the year. They call on their friends, family, and community to raise lifesaving funds for Mississippi’s kids. Their hard work culminates on Game Day with 24 hours of gaming for kids. Game Day this year is November 4, 2023. Extra Life started at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, with gamers across North America gaming to raise funds for their local Children’s hospital.

Some ideas for fundraising are:

• using your Twitch platform to raise funds and awareness.
• organizing a gaming event with friends and "buying –in" to attend.
• creating a team at your school, office, or with your community to compete to see who can raise the most, while gaming.
• hosting an event at a local business and encouraging them to share some of the night’s proceeds.
