Transportation and Parking
Shuttle Service
UMMC provides free shuttle service to and from designated locations from Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium parking lot to the Medical Center campus and clinics. Shuttle buses operate Monday through Friday except on UMMC holidays.
Shuttle information
Effective April 1, 2022, Groome Transportation will begin using a new app for employees and students to track shuttle bus locations. The TransLoc app is your one stop shop for transit near you. Track your bus, get real time location of your vehicle, view and favorite stops, and get estimated arrival times.
Students and staff may track shuttle locations and routes in real time online or with the Transloc mobile app:
- Desktop shuttle tracker
- Download the mobile Transloc shuttle tracker app - External site
- How to download and use the app - External site
Routes and zones
Routes streamline service and get employees, students and campus visitors where they need to go safely and efficiently. Simply park in a designated "zone" and catch the corresponding shuttle to specific locations on campus. Note: Some destinations will not have direct connections, so additional walking may be required.
Shuttle bus shelters are located at designated lot and campus locations. Each shelter is clearly marked to indicate the shuttle zone and stop location.
