Overview

This map shows the designated parking zones for each shuttle line at the following parking lots: Veteran's Memorial Stadium, Jackson Medical Mall, and UMMC Campus in Jackson, Mississippi. Main UMMC Campus Map also includes color-coded parking areas by visitor type.

Values

Veteran's Memorial Stadium Parking:

  • Blue – To access the health systems portion of campus, park in the blue zone of the Overflow Lot and Lot B and take the Blue Line Shuttle.
    • Shuttle Stops located in this parking area include: 2, 9, 10, 11 and 12.
    • This parking area is located at Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
    • The Overflow Lot is bordered by the following streets: Tailgate Drive, Upper West Stadium Drive, Stadium Circle and Vendors Drive.
    • Lot B is bordered by the following streets: Tailgate Drive, Vendors Drive, Stadium Circle and Upper East Stadium Drive.
  • Gold – To access the educational side of the campus, park in the gold section of Lot B and take the Gold Line Shuttle.
    • Shuttle Stops located in this parking area include: 1, 2, 3 and 4.
    • This parking area is located at Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
    • Lot B is bordered by the following streets: Tailgate Drive, Vendors Drive, Stadium Circle and Upper East Stadium Drive.
  • Red – To access the University Physicians Pavilion, park in the orange zone of the Overflow Lot and Lot B and take the Red Line Shuttle.
    • Shuttle Stops located in this parking area include 27 and 30.
    • This parking area is located at Veteran's Memorial Stadium in front of the blue zone.
    • The Overflow Lot is bordered by the following streets: Tailgate Drive, Upper West Stadium Drive, Stadium Circle and Vendors Drive.
    • Lot B is bordered by the following streets: Tailgate Drive, Vendors Drive, Stadium Circle and Upper East Stadium Drive.
  • Green – To access UMMC clinics on Lakeland Drive, park in the green section of Lot C and Lot E and take the Green Line Shuttle.
    • Nearby Shuttle Stops include 22 (Lot E) and 27 (Lot C).
    • This parking area is located at Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
    • Lot C is accessible by Stadium Circle and located directly behind the Stadium.
    • Lot E is is accessible by Stadium Circle and located next to the Medical Towers and Children's of Mississippi - Batson Kids Clinic.
  • Walk to work - Those who would like to walk to campus should park in the gray sections of Lot A and Lot B and use the crosswalk at UMMC’s main entrance on North State Street.
    • Nearby Shuttle Stop 5 (Lot B).
    • This parking area is located at Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
    • Lot A is bordered by the following streets: Stadium Circle, Lower East Stadium Drive, North State Street, Upper East Stadium Drive.
    • Lot B is bordered by the following streets: Tailgate Drive, Vendors Drive, Stadium Circle and Upper East Stadium Drive.

UMMC Jackson Campus Parking: 

  • Patient Parking - Yellow zones denote parking areas that are available to patients. Visit an interactive map with on-campus patient parking areas highlighted.
    • Parking Garage A, B, C, Pavilion and Lots 1, 5, 20, 21, 27 and 36.
  • Employee/Staff/Resident Parking - Blue zones denote parking areas available to UMMC employees.
    • Parking Garage D and Lots 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 18, 23, 26, 30, 32, 33 and 38.
  • Reserved Parking - Pink zones denote reserved parking areas.
    • Lots 3, 5, 15, 26, 27 and 36 (in garage below grade).
  • Other/Special Event Parking - Green zones denote special event parking areas.
    • Methodist Rehab Center, Motor Pool and Lots 7, 21, 24 and 37.
  • Contractor Parking - Red zones denote contractor parking areas.
    • Student Union, Research Building, Service Court, Clinical Sciences Building, Between Learning Resource Center and Dental School, Farmer's Market, Laundry.

Presentation

At the top of the page there is a color-coded key that lists the parking zone that corresponds with the correct shuttle line. Underneath, there are detailed maps of the following parking lots: Veteran's Memorial Stadium, Jackson Medical Mall, and Main UMMC Campus in Jackson, Mississippi. These lots are then color coded with the corresponding parking zones and Shuttle Stops. Shuttle Routes A and B, which operate from 7:30 A.M. - 9:30 P.M. are included as an inset for reference. Patient Parking Areas and Shuttle Stops are noted on another inset map of the main UMMC Jackson Campus.
