Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) employees are dedicated stewards of UMMC's physical environment. Our planners, architects, and construction professionals guide UMMC departments through the entire building process, providing comprehensive planning, design excellence, quality construction and exceptional service.
PDC staff is responsible for cost estimating, scheduling, design and construction integrity, ensuring that UMMC receives the highest quality facilities on time and in budget. We work to support quality education, research, and healthcare, and to enhance the experience of all who interact with UMMC. We manage consultants and contractors, enforcing adherence to all UMMC, IHL, and Bureau of Buildings standards and regulations.
