Facilities Services
The Office of Facilities Services is responsible for maintenance and operations of UMMC campus buildings, grounds, utility services and other related functions in support of the mission of UMMC. In addition to facilities operations, Facilities Services oversees campus planning, capital construction and real estate asset management.
On the main campus, Facilities Services currently maintains over 5 million square feet of buildings and approximately 200 acres of grounds. Statewide, we provide oversight and support for an additional 1.4 million square feet of hospitals and clinics. We respond to over 46,000 maintenance services request annually. Facilities Services is leading the way in providing a sustainable academic medical center environment at UMMC.
