Faculty Appreciation Week

Faculty Appreciation Week is an annual event to recognize our faculty members for their dedication and contribution to the UMMC mission. Hosted by the Office of Faculty Affairs, the event is held in the fall of each academic year, and several UMMC offices, departments, and orgnaizations collaborate to host events that celebrate all UMMC faculty.

Faculty Appreciation Week 2023 will be held September 18 - 22, 2023.

Faculty who participate events during the week will earn entry into the Faculty Appreciation Week 2023 grand prize drawings. Be sure to scan our event QR code each time you participate in an event -- in-person or virtually!

Join Sadara Evans, Project Manager in the Office of Well-being and RYT200, for Faculty Flex. Class will be held in the Small Sanderson Community Room, CH008A, and is beginner friendly. There is space in this class for 20 people with yoga mats and blocks provided.  This is a beginner friendly yoga class but will involve getting up and down from the floor. Please note that while this class is in-person, the instructor will be virtual for this event.
