ABN Status Definitions

Epic users may be presented with an ABN during the treatment of Medicare patients. The ABN can be generated when entering orders, scheduling procedures or visits, checking in and out of visits, or performing and processing orders. Users are to follow their department's policy for addressing the ABN.
