New Tracheostomy Care BPA

In an effort to improve patient care and outcomes, as well as decrease LOS, a new Tracheostomy care BPA will go live Wednesday, September 28th. During the pilot excluding patients discharged on a ventilator, utilization of a standardized tracheostomy care protocol led to a 3.6-day length of stay reduction. The new BPA will include patients 18 and older.

Please note area of impact: Jackson Campus only.
