Children's Outpatient Behavioral Health

Children's of Mississippi offers comprehensive behavioral health care, including outpatient and inpatient psychiatric and psychological services, for preschoolers through adolescents.

From extensive evaluation and diagnostic services to innovative neuroscience treatments, we help children and adolescents with mental and emotional well-being. Our child psychologists, psychiatrists and behavioral therapists offer testing and treatment for conditions ranging from the common to complex and from mild to the most severe. The care team within the psychiatry program includes four child/adolescent psychiatrists, three child psychologists, a nurse practitioner, and a social worker.

Inpatient care is offered on the behavioral unit at Batson Children's Hospital. Outpatient testing, therapy sessions, evaluations, and more are provided through the psychiatry program.
