Fellowship/Career Paths

Training at University of Mississippi Medical Center provides the opportunity to pursue a variety of career choices. UMMC hosts 14 fellowship programs within the Department of Medicine. Over the past four years, approximately 75% of our residents enter subspecialty fellowships, with the remaining 25% entering various types of careers within general internal medicine. Around 75% of our residents decide to remain at UMMC for their fellowship training.
