Hassan joins CCRI breast cancer team

Dr. Masood Muhammad Hassan has joined the University of Mississippi Medical Center as an assistant professor of pathology.
At UMMC, he is a member of the Cancer Center and Research Institute Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Care team as well as conducting cancer research.
Hassan, who is board-certified in pathology and anatomic and clinical pathology, recently completed a breast and gynecologic fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. twitt
He holds a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery, MBBS, from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan; and also has completed an internship at Jinnah Hospital in Lahore; an anatomic and clinical pathology residency program in the Department of Pathology at the Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University, in Greenville, NC; and a selective surgical pathology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is lead author or co-author of several research articles published in professional journals.
