Administrative Core

The Cardiorenal and Metabolic Diseases Research Center (CMDRC) has a variety of functions and is comprised of multiple components, including four junior investigator research projects, a Pilot Grant Program, a Mentoring and Education Program, administrative units, and two Research Resource Cores. Essential functions of the Administrative Core (Core A) are to coordinate and provide support for all Center activities, develop and implement mentoring and education programs, and interface with the NIGMS, UMMC administration, the UMMC Grants and Contracts office, the departments represented in the CMDRC, and the investigators and trainees of the Center.
