Certified Athletic Trainers

An athletic trainer is an allied health care provider who collaborates with University Sports Medicine physicians to optimize activity and participation of the athletic population. Our athletic training staff is board-certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association and licensed by the state of Mississippi. Our athletic trainers are highly trained in performing immediate and emergency injury management, injury assessment and rehabilitation. They routinely work with athletes from the junior high level to Division I and professional athletes.
