The mission of the Radiologic Sciences program in the School of Health Related Professions at UMMC is to provide an educational experience in a scholarly environment to help students reach their highest potential in technical knowledge and clinical competency in radiologic sciences.
The traditional bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences is an entry-level program that provides students with the education and clinical experience necessary to become registered as a radiologic technologist. The program is full-time and offered across five semesters. The advanced standing bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences is intended to enhance the quality and education of registered radiologic technologists. The program is part-time and offered online across five semesters.
