Biography
I earned an Associate Degree in nursing from Hinds Community College in Jackson, MS in May of 2013. After graduation, I soon began the master's of science in nursing program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center with the goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. My expected graduation date is May 2016.
Currently, I am a registered nurse working in infectious and digestive disease. I also have experience working as a registered nurse in a neurological intensive care unit.
Before becoming a registered nurse, I had a career in accounting which for which I obtained an undergraduate degree in accounting, as well as a master's degree in business administration.
Together, my educational and work experiences have taught me the problem solving skills, communication skills, and the flexibility necessary in order to be successful as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As an FNP, I hope to provide quality care across the lifespan and provide the education necessary to better the lives of my patients.
