Since 2009, the University Transplant Guild has been supporting University of Mississippi Medical Center transplant and VAD patients during their time of need through the generous support of donors, such as you!
This year, we are introducing a new twist on our annual fundraiser, The Southern Social goes to Livingston, a farm to table inspired evening event. Please consider participating as a sponsor for this worthy cause.
Over the past year, the Guild has approved 84 applications for emergency financial need totaling $14,655.00 in direct assistance. These needs were often for emergency access to medications, travel and utilities. We also began a new program to provide short term accommodations for out of town family when their loved one has their transplant or VAD surgery and are in the ICU. This program began in March 2023 and has provided 39 hotel nights relieving the family of one potential stressor.
