Biography: Dr. Paine is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and graduated from the University of the South with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Political Science. She then completed medical school, Internal Medicine Residency, and Digestive Disease Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center with her clinical work as a gastroenterologist at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center. At the VA, she served as GI Section Chief prior to being selected as Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Specialty Care and currently as Associate Chief of Staff for Specialty Care.
