Biography: Dr. Manning graduated from Millsaps College (Psychology), next attending the University of Mississippi (Oxford) where he completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. That training included Internship at the (now) Michael DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX, with emphasis in training there in Neuropsychology and Behavioral Medicine.
After completing his training, he worked in private practice settings in Hattiesburg and Jackson, MS. He joined the Neurology Department @ the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1994, and is a tenured full professor in Neurology with an appointment in Psychiatry. He is board certified (ABPP) in Clinical Psychology.

His clinical focus is primarily Clinical Neuropsychology, providing clinical services to patients with a variety of acquired and developmental neurologic disorders. He is active teaching Residents (Psychology, Neurology, Psychiatry) and serves on several advisory boards (Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services Spinal Cord and Head Injury Trust Fund, Brain Injury Association of Mississippi).
