Biography: I am a registered nurse at Balir E. Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson MS. I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After graduation, I worked on an adult medical/surgical unit. The unit I work on now is a pediatric cardiac step down/surgical unit. I am currently seeking a Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in the clinical setting. In addition to my B.S.N., I received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University.
