Biography: Dr. Stephanie Gong is a native of Jackson, MS and is married with two children. After receiving her B.S. in biology cum laude from Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee, in 2005, Gong earned her M.D. at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, in 2009. She had residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UMMC from 2009-13. She then worked in private practice for seven years prior to returning to UMMC. A fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Gong is a board certified OB-GYN and an active member of the American Medical Association and the Mississippi State Medical Association. She was an Omicron Delta Kappa inductee and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year as well as a three time All-American in tennis while at Rhodes College.
My Approach to Healthcare
I believe in patient centered, quality care for all women in the area. I enjoy getting to build relationships with my patients and educate them on overall wellness specific to their age.
