Biography: Dr. Christopher was born in Birmingham, Alabama and earned his bachelor of science in biomedical sciences at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He played 4 years of varsity football while at Auburn and was a member of the 2011 BCS National Championship team. He then attended medical school at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL where he earned his medical doctorate. After completing his general surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he served as administrative chief resident, he completed a fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Providence St. John's Cancer Institute (formerly John Wayne Cancer Institute) in Santa Monica, California. He began in the division of surgical oncology in September 2022.

I believe in the individualized and comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment of patients with oncologic and endocrine disorders. I believe collaboration between specialty providers offers the best patient outcomes and satisfaction.
