Biography: I have had a passion for HIV medicine since college and am honored to care for this special population of patients. Since joining the UMMC faculty in 2015, I have been a practicing physician in UMMC's Ryan White clinic and assumed the role of medical director of the clinic in 2017. It has been an honor to teach numerous clinical learners across the training timeline in ID and HIV medicine. I participate in multiple clinical trials and observational studies in HIV and STDs.
My Approach to Healthcare
Patient-centered care means that the physician listens more than speaks and engages in shared decision-making. I approach the patient visit with kindness and offer the same care to all no matter who you are.
