My Approach to Healthcare
As a family nurse practitioner offering telehealth services, my practice is very broad. I chose family because I wanted to be able to provide care for patients across their lifespan from birth to end of life. My approach when providing care is to first listen to the patient. I understand that no two patients are the same so listening to each patient is as important as an assessment. As a telehealth provider, assessments are limited so taking a detailed history is important. I believe it is imperative to be able to identify conditions that are appropriate for treatment via telehealth and those that may require a more hands-on approach. My ultimate goal is to ensure the patient receives the most appropriate care in a timely manner.
