The Potential Academic Changes committee (PAC) ensures the proper planning and implementation of new academic degree programs, oversees the development of new academic units, and manages modifications to existing academic units or degree programs. The committee directs the schools to ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, governing board guidelines, and institution-wide accreditation standards. The PAC committee augments the processes within the registrar's office and with the student information system.
New academic programs must be developed within an academic unit in the School of Dentistry, School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences, School of Health Related Professions, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, or Bower School of Population Health.
