Biography
Born in Cleveland Ohio and raised in DC suburbs. Initially introduced to medicine by his father who worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as an electrical engineer. He went onto undergrad at the University of Maryland. He then went to Penn State for Medical school. He has done research at Boston Children/Mass General and NIH. His Pediatric Residency was at the Cleveland Clinic. His Cardiology Fellowship was at Nationwide Children's Hospital at The Ohio State University. His interventional fellowship was at UCSD/ Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. He has authored multiple publications and has 16 years of practice experience including as a general pediatric and adult congenital cardiologist and echo consultant. He loves traveling, watching football, kayaking, running, and coaching youth sports. His favorite interventions are pulmonary valve implants, ductal stenting, preemie pda closures, and pulmonary vein interventions. He loves teaching, running, basketball coaching, traveling, and spending time with his six kids. His current research is on performing low risk procedures without radiation.
