Medical Student Family Alliance

The Medical Student Family Alliance supports UMMC medical students and those who care about them. We strive to create a community of friendship through service projects and social events benefiting UMMC medical students and the local community.

The spouses and significant others of medical students are an ever-growing and integral group who become intertwined with the demands of a medical career. More students today are entering medical school in serious relationships. Many are married and even have children by the time Match Day arrives. The MSFA is a great way for loved ones of medical students to be involved with the UMMC community and support their medical student.

The Medical Student Family Alliance welcomes all significant others and spouses of medical students. It is also open to both men and women as well as the medical students themselves.

Join the MSFA

Membership is open to all UMMC medical students and their significant other. Dues are $10 per couple. If you are interested in becoming a member or have any questions, email UMMC.MSFA@gmail.com.

Information for parents

If you are a parent of a medical student and would like to participate in the MSFA's Help Us Help Them campaign which allows the Family Alliance to provide snacks for med students, email us at ummc.msfa@gmail.com for more information on how you can contribute.
