Biography Information:
From Ahmedabad, India, Dr. Tejas Maheshwari studied at M.P. Shah Medical College. He is married with children and enjoys traveling, reading, and cricket. He was drawn to UMMC for its strong AP/CP training, abundant case volume, research support, and the academic opportunities it offers. Dr. Maheshwari aims to specialize in GI and liver pathology and pursue a career in academic medicine. His fun fact: “My hands are better at holding a scalpel than chopsticks. H&E is my love language.” He fondly recalls his road trip from Mississippi to Chicago for the ASCP Annual Meeting, which enriched his professional perspective.
