Residency Application Process

We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The deadline to submit your application for the upcoming academic year is Oct. 1.

Interview process

Interviews generally occur from October through November. If invited for an interview, you will attend a half-day of interviews and dinner with a group of current residents the evening before the interviews. The interview day includes faculty interviews (including the Department of Neurology chairman and program director), a luncheon with current residents, and a tour of our institution.

Application requirements

  • ERAS common application form
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Medical school transcript
  • USMLE and/or COMLEX transcript(s)
  • ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
  • We sponsor only J-1 visas
  • U.S. clinical experience in the Neurological Sciences (rotation or observer-ship)
