Veteran ob-gyn joins Medical Center faculty
Medical Center leadership is proud to announce the following addition to its faculty and leadership staff.
James Holt Crews, M.D.
Dr. James Holt Crews, a veteran practitioner with 17 years of experience at the Woman’s Clinic in Jackson, has joined the Medical Center faculty as an assistant professor of gynecology.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Crews received his high school diploma from Memphis University School in 1989 and earned his B.A. in chemistry cum laude at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia in 1993. He earned his M.D. at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1998, then had ob-gyn residency training at UMMC from 1998-2002. He joined the Woman’s Clinic in 2003.
An active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association, Crews is president and founder of the Lantern Medical Clinic.
