My Approach to Healthcare

It is my sincere belief that a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare yields the best results for our patients. In line with this view, as director of structural heart anesthesiology and the medical director of cardiovascular anesthesiology, I work very closely with cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to discuss upcoming patients before the operating room to improve preparation, efficiency, and outcomes for our cardiac patients. These close interdisciplinary relationships and open lines of communication have directly led to changes in operative planning, expedited care of critically ill patients, and improved outcomes for Mississippians.
