Biography: I was born and raised in Jackson, MS. Upon graduating high school in 2004 I attended Mississippi State University for pre requisite courses. In 2007 I began nursing school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and graduated class of 2009 with my BSN. Upon graduating I accepted a job in the Neuroscience ICU and have remained there ever since. I have recently completed my MSN education at UMMC in May 2016 and have been certified by the ANCC as an AGACNP-BC. I remain in the Neuro ICU as an Advanced Practice Provider. My clinical areas of interest include neurosurgery, neurology, and neurotrauma. I enjoy being outdoors, playing disc golf, gardening, college football, and reading.
