Biography: Born into an immigrant family, achieving the American dream, completed residency in MS, pediatric anesthesia fellowship in AK and returning home to start a heart program from the ground up with a heart surgeon, fostering a life long professional relationship, to which all others would be a mission to replicate. I performed 1000 heart cases in three years and what a fulfilling journey it was. The opportunity to establish a heart center of excellence in Oklahoma cemented my skills and confidence as a leader in my field .Returning to MS, still Director of Pediatric CV Anesthesia services,I had developed other interests such as women mentoring, diversity and wellness,medical school admissions, second victim support and disaster preparedness initiatives that I devote my time and efforts.
