Biography: Mark E. Ladner, M.D. is a professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. Dr. Ladner is board certified in psychiatry. He is the primary attending on 7 West inpatient psychiatry unit and Medical Director of the Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic at Riverchase. Dr. Ladner received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and also completed his residency at UMMC, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Ladner’s career has included positions at Madison County Medical Center, Hinds Behavioral Health Services, Psycamore Psychiatric Programs and the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center. He also operated a private psychiatric practice at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ladner enjoys spending time with his family and attending athletic events. His wife is the Executive Director of the Mississippi Psychiatric Association and their triplet daughters currently attend the University of Mississippi.

I also believe in a customer based, empathetic approach which meets the patient's needs and helps the patient feel valued and appreciated.
