Biography: Kristi Goodson is a Nurse Practitioner who has been working in the Center for Telehealth as a Nurse Practitioner for 8 years. She began her medical career in 1997 as a nurse. Kristi graduated from UMMC School of Nursing with a bachelor's degree in 1997. She completed her advanced practice training with a master's degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2011. She has specialized in physical medicine and rehab, urgent care and telehealth throughout her career and currently treats patients with minor medical complaints via Telehealth. She has held several leadership positions across her career and currently serves as the Lead Advanced Practice Provider for the Center for Telehealth. She is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Mississippi Nurses Association.
