Biography: Dr. Sarah Faucette is an associate professor of audiology in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). She collaborates closely with the MIND Center, serving as the lead clinical research audiologist for the Aging and Cognitive Health Evaluation in Elders (ACHIEVE) trial and as the site principal investigator for the Hearing Intervention Follow-up Study (ACHIEVE-HIFU).
Dr. Faucette also serves as associate director of UMMC’s Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) academic program. Within the program, she leads the clinical practicum and hearing loss management coursework, helping to shape the next generation of clinical audiologists.
She holds both a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from East Carolina University. Her professional interests include hearing loss in the aging population and hearing aid amplification
